On July 4th, 1776, America’s founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence and with that historic document, declared their independence from the Crown. I was a girl scout leader for many years, and for the Fourth of July, I would often host a party for all my current and former Girl Scouts. I had such fond memories of bonding and reuniting with all of my Senior Girl Scouts. At the parties, the current girl scouts loved to hear from the older girls about life after graduation. I loved volunteering at my church and miss being a girl scout leader. On America’s birthday, I wish you and your loved ones a happy Independence Day!
